Essential Principles of Permaculture
There are many principles of permaculture design (87 and counting!) and every permaculture teacher uses their own set. This collection of ‘essential’ principles are a distillation of Bill Mollison’s and David Holmgren’s in “Permaculture: A Designer’s Manual” and “Permaculture: Principles and Pathways Beyond Sustainability”. They are the principles that a group of Permaculture Designers and Teachers from northeastern North America (AppleSeed Permaculture, Regenerative Design Group,Sowing Solutions) find the most useful as a practicing permaculture designers and teachers.
